Is Fallout Shelter always running?
SwellingDump路7 months agoFallout Shelter does have a real-time element to it, so it keeps going even when you're not playing. Your dwellers will continue to use resources, and rooms will still produce goods. However, the game doesn't require a constant internet connection, and it won't drain your data or battery when you're not actively playing. Just be ready for whatever happened while you were away next time you open it!

I once left my vault unattended for a week, thinking everything would be in chaos. Surprisingly, my dwellers were still kicking, albeit a bit grumpier and in need of resources. Fallout Shelter does its thing in the background but knows how to wait for you.
Fallout Shelter? Always running? Lol, nah. It's not plotting against you 24/7. Just make sure to check in on your dwellers now and then. They manage okay on their own.
Nope, Fallout Shelter isn't literally "always running" in the sense that it'll pause certain processes when you're not actively playing. Your dwellers won't die of starvation or radiation the second you close the app, but yeah, time does progress, and things will have changed when you come back.
