As a big fan of both, I’ve found hints and references in Fire Force that point to Soul Eater, but they’re not directly connected in the storyline.

Fire Force and Soul Eater are from the same creator, Atsushi Ōkubo, and share some visual and thematic similarities. But officially, Fire Force isn't a prequel to Soul Eater.
