Nope, they're not exactly the same. The anime sometimes adds extra humor and filler episodes that aren't in the manga. Plus, the pacing can differ a bit!

The manga is the original and has a bit more detail, but the anime adds its own spice with voice acting and music. Both are awesome in their own way!

Gintama anime and manga have some differences, like filler episodes in the anime. But overall, they follow the same storyline, so enjoy both!

The manga is generally more detailed and sticks to the source material. The anime includes fillers, but both are hilarious and worth your time.

If you're a Gintama fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
