Sorry to break the news, but GTA 5 doesn’t do the whole cross-platform thing between PS5 and Xbox Series X. So, teaming up with friends on the other console? Not gonna happen.

Actually, GTA 5 still doesn't have cross-platform play. So if you've got friends on a different console, you'll have to pick a side or buy both consoles - not the best solution, I know.

Nah, GTA 5 doesn't support cross-platform play between PS5 and Xbox Series X. Rockstar hasn't rolled out that feature, so you're stuck with players on your own console's network.
