Sorry to burst your bubble, but nope, GTA 5 isn't free online for PS4. You gotta buy the game to play it. But honestly, it's worth the dollars for the hours of chaos and fun you get.

If you're wishing for GTA 5 to be free on PS4, keep dreaming! You need to buy the game, mate.

Nah, it's not free. You have to purchase the game. HOWEVER, once you have the game, playing online doesn't need an extra subscription if you've already got PlayStation Plus, so there's that silver lining!

Actually, it's a common misconception that GTA 5 could be free on PS4. It's not. You have to shell out some cash to join the criminal ranks of Los Santos.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
