Ah, the age-old question! Currently, GTA Online does not support cross-gen play. This means if you're playing on a PS4, you won't be able to team up or compete against friends on a PS5. Each console generation is its own little island.

Nah, GTA Online doesn't do the cross-gen thing. Gotta stick to your own console family!

From personal experience, I tried getting my crew together from PS4 and Xbox Series X. Didn't work. GTA Online keeps each generation to itself, so no crossing the streams here.

Hot take: who needs cross-gen when you're too busy enjoying the chaos of your own generation's Los Santos? But yeah, no cross-gen play in GTA Online.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
