Is Helldivers Easier to Play Single Player?

Playing Helldivers solo can be a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, you've got full control over the mission pace and all the strategic decisions. That means you can stealth around at your own speed without worrying about a teammate alerting the whole map. However, the game scales difficulty based on the number of players, but don't be fooled; it doesn't necessarily get easier just because you're alone.
