Totally, Hot Wheels track pieces are made of a type of plastic that can be recycled. But, not all recycling centers take them because of the size and type of plastic. Best bet? Check with your local recycling program to see if they’ll take your epic loop-the-loop and corkscrew sections!

Short answer: Yes, but it's complicated. Check locally.

Honestly, it's better to repurpose them. I've seen some insane DIY projects turning old tracks into room decorations or even garden planters! Recycling is cool, but giving those tracks a second life as something new? Even cooler.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
