Nope, Hot Wheels Unleashed comes close but no cigar. It supports up to 2 players in split-screen mode. So, you and a buddy can race head-to-head on the same screen, but if you're aiming for a 4-player local multiplayer experience, you'll have to look elsewhere. For bigger gatherings, the online multiplayer mode might be the way to go, supporting up to 12 players.
Actually, 2-player split screen is where it's at with Hot Wheels Unleashed. It's a bummer for sure if you were hoping to have a 4-player showdown on your couch.
