I've been hoping for that too, but looks like we'll need to buy it for now. No news on it being added to Game Pass.

As of now, there's no official announcement about Insurgency: Sandstorm joining Xbox Game Pass. Keep an eye on the Xbox Game Pass library updates for any changes!
