My PS5 lives in rest mode, and it's been perfectly fine. It's super handy for keeping my games updated and quickly resuming play. Just keep an eye out for power outages.

Some folks worry about power surges, but honestly, Sony designed it to handle rest mode. So, you're good to go!

Nope, it's not bad! Rest mode actually saves power and allows for quick startups. Plus, your downloads and updates continue in the background. Just make sure to keep the system well-ventilated!

Here's my hot take: I always turn it off completely. Might be overly cautious, but I prefer playing it safe.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
