Sure, playing your Steam Deck while it charges is totally fine. But, if it gets too hot, maybe give it a break? Devices need naps too.

Gaming on your Steam Deck during charge? No biggie. But keep an eye on the heat levels – don’t want to toast your hands or your Deck!

I do it all the time. No issues so far. Just make sure you're using the official charger to avoid any problems. The game must go on!

Absolutely, you can play on your Steam Deck while it's charging. Just like a smartphone or laptop, using it while charging won’t harm the device. It might get a tad warmer than usual, but that's normal. Keep gaming on!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
