No way, Jujutsu Kaisen isn't based on a true story. It's a work of pure fiction, drawing from a blend of Japanese folklore, shonen manga tropes, and a dash of creative genius from Gege Akutami. The world of cursed energy and sorcerers is as real as my chances of winning an Olympic gold medal in procrastination.

Gonna play devil's advocate here but, no. Even though it feels so alive, Jujutsu Kaisen is 100% a masterpiece from the mind of Gege Akutami. It's like Harry Potter - totally unreal but wouldn't it be cool if it was?

Absolutely not. If curses and sorcerers were real, we鈥檇 all be in a world of trouble. It鈥檚 all fantasy, but the emotions and growth of the characters? That鈥檚 the real magic.
