Magmar's decent in Pokemon GO, especially early on. He has a good attack stat, but his defense and stamina are kinda meh. Solid for some gym battles, but don't expect him to dominate!

Magmar? Not that great. There are much better fire types you can aim for like Charizard or Arcanine.

From my experience, Magmar can be a fun addition to your team. He's been useful in some battles, but he's definitely not top-tier. Worth catching though!
