I heard a rumor once that you could unlock Michael in GTA Online, but it turned out to be just that, a rumor. So no, no Michael to team up with or fight against in the online chaos of Los Santos.
No Michael in GTA Online. Period. It's all about making your own criminal mastermind anyway.
Actually, while Michael from GTA V isn't a character you can meet or play as in GTA Online, there have been Easter eggs and references to him and the rest of the single-player game's crew. So, in a way, the spirit of Michael lives on in GTA Online, just not in the flesh.
