Nope, Microsoft isn't removing Xbox Live Gold. They're just renaming it to Xbox Game Pass Core and adding more perks!

Microsoft rebranded Xbox Live Gold to Xbox Game Pass Core starting in September 2023. It works similarly but with added Game Pass games.
