Nope! Mortal Kombat and God of War are separate universes. Kratos does appear in Mortal Kombat as a guest character in MK9, but it doesn’t make the two franchises canonically related.

They're totally different stories, man. Just because Kratos shows up doesn't mean they're the same universe.

Absolutely not, they’re different franchises. Kratos in MK9 is just a cool crossover for fun. Enjoy the madness!

I wish! Seeing more Kratos in anything is always awesome, but Mortal Kombat and God of War don’t share the same canon.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
