While both feature schools for young superheroes, My Hero Academia draws a lot more from classic shonen manga and Western superhero comics than Sky High. They do have similar vibes, though!

Nah, My Hero Academia isn't directly inspired by Sky High. It takes more influence from X-Men and Western superhero tropes.

As a superfan, I can tell you My Hero Academia has its own unique flair, even though Sky High also has a school setting for superheroes.
