Yep, Naruto is definitely longer if you're counting episodes! Naruto has Naruto (220 episodes) + Naruto Shippuden (500 episodes) for a grand total of 720 episodes. Meanwhile, Dragon Ball (153 episodes) + Dragon Ball Z (291 episodes) + Dragon Ball Super (131 episodes) + Dragon Ball GT (64 episodes) adds up to 639 episodes. So Naruto takes the crown!

Yeah, Naruto's longer in terms of episode count. But if you're talking about the manga, Dragon Ball has 519 chapters, while Naruto has 700 chapters. Naruto wins both counts!

From my experience binge-watching both, Naruto definitely felt longer and had more episodes. But Dragon Ball was my first love!

Naruto is longer, but DBZ will always be legendary.

Naruto wins in episode count, but Dragon Ball still feels like it has more impact. Quality over quantity, right?
