Not really. Overwatch feels more like a MOBA (think League of Legends) mixed with a shooter, while TF2 is pure class-based chaos.
If you love TF2, you'll probably enjoy Overwatch too. Imagine TF2 but with a bigger emphasis on heroes' unique abilities and a more polished look.
As someone who has put hundreds of hours into both, I'd say Overwatch is TF2's fancier cousin. Both are fun, but they each bring something unique to the table.
