Nope, unless you strike gold with a super rare card, you're likely spending more than you're making. It's more about the fun of collecting and playing than turning a profit.
It can be a hit or miss. I've sold a few of my rare cards for a good sum, but it took lots of time to understand the market and what collectors are looking for. You've gotta be in it for the love of Pokemon TCG, and if you happen to make some money, consider that a bonus!
