Nope, reverse osmosis and distilled water are not the same. Reverse osmosis filters water through a semi-permeable membrane, removing impurities, while distilled water is boiled and condensed back into liquid, leaving contaminants behind.

I鈥檝e tried both for my aquarium, and trust me, they鈥檙e not the same. My fish prefer the RO water!

They鈥檙e different processes. Reverse osmosis uses a membrane to filter water, and distillation involves boiling and condensing it. Both produce clean water, but the methods are unique!

Distilled water is way purer than reverse osmosis water. Taste-wise, RO water is better though.
