Rocket League went free, but not on Steam. Epic Games Store is the place to score it now. Steam users who already had it keep it, no worries.

Nah, Rocket League ain't free on Steam, folks. It actually made the switch to free-to-play, but you gotta grab it from the Epic Games Store now. Steam stopped getting new downloads after the Epic transition, but if you had it on Steam before, you can still play and update it there.

Rocket League? Free? Yes, but actually no. Not on Steam, my friend. Epic Games Store stole the show for newbies.

Well, technically you can鈥檛 say it鈥檚 free on Steam cuz it's more of an Epic Games exclusive now. But hey, if you got it on Steam before Epic called dibs, you're all set.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
