Tbh, Rome is good, but there are better options depending on playstyle. Try different civs to see what fits you best!
Absolutely! Rome's infantry units are strong and their early game defense boost is fantastic. Plus, those legionary units look awesome in battle!
I've been playing as Rome since Day 1, and let me tell you, their defense boosts have saved my bacon countless times. Highly recommend for beginners!
