Skylanders and Spyro are buddies, but they're not in the same universe! Skylanders is more of a spin-off with Spyro as a special guest. So, they're related in spirit, but not in canon!

Skylanders is its own thing. Spyro had a cameo, but it's not really part of the Spyro canon.
