Actually, Solo Leveling started off as a web novel before becoming a super popular webtoon, and then, an anime series. So, it's not exactly what you'd call a traditional light novel but more of a web novel turned manhwa.
Solo Leveling? That's web novel territory, my friend. Paved its way from web novel to webtoon and then hit the anime world like a storm. Light novels are cool and all, but this ain't one.
