I played Sonic Generations with my little brother – we could race each other in some stages, but couldn't team up in the story mode. It's still loads of fun though!
Sonic Generations does have a couple of multiplayer modes, but it's not really a full-fledged two-player game. You can do Time Trials and race against a friend, but the main storyline is single-player only. So grab a buddy for some races but don't expect a full co-op adventure!
