There's been no official word from Valve about a Steam Deck 2 yet. The original Steam Deck hit the shelves in 2022 and has been pretty popular. Valve tends to take their time with new hardware, focusing on updates and improvements. So, if a Steam Deck 2 is in the works, they're keeping it under wraps for now.

I bought the first Steam Deck at launch, and honestly, it's been a blast. Valve's pattern with hardware suggests they focus on perfection before moving on. A Steam Deck 2 would be great, but let's give them time to surprise us. They always do.
