Absolutely, Steam repacks are generally safe as long as you're getting them from a reputable source. Steam itself is a super secure platform, so anything that's officially on there has passed some serious checks. Just make sure not to wander off to shady corners of the internet looking for deals that seem too good to be true, because they probably are.

I wouldn't trust repacks that aren't directly from Steam. While Steam is a fortress of digital goodness, the wild web is full of Trojan horses dressed as repacks. Stick to the official stuff, and your PC will thank you.

Nah, I'd say all repacks are a gamble. Why risk it? Just get your games directly from Steam and sleep easy knowing your PC isn't part of a botnet by morning.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
