Hot take: Story mode in Mario Maker 2 doesn't need two players. It's a solo adventure for a reason.

Nope, the Story Mode in Super Mario Maker 2 is single player only. But hey, you can team up in Course World for multiplayer fun!

I played through the whole Story Mode solo. If you want two-player action, try the player-created levels in Course World instead.

No, the story mode is strictly solo. But once you finish, grab a friend and try the multiplayer for custom levels!
