Not really, unless you crank up the difficulty settings. On normal, it’s pretty manageable if you keep up with leveling your characters and buying the best gear.
Nope, it's a breeze if you know what you're doing and stay prepared.
I played it on normal and found it just right. Some bosses gave me a run for my Gald, but nothing insurmountable. Really depends on your experience with JRPGs.
