Not exactly. Tanjiro's dad practiced a dance related to the Sun Breathing technique, but he wasn't technically a Demon Slayer. So close but no cigar.

I think he was strong in his own right, but calling him the strongest Demon Slayer is a stretch. Tanjiro surpassed him by becoming an actual Demon Slayer.

No, Tanjiro's father was not the strongest Demon Slayer. He practiced the Hinokami Kagura, which is linked to the Breath of the Sun, the most powerful Breath style, but he himself was not a Demon Slayer.

Tanjiro's father was more of a guardian than a Slayer. Tanjiro and other Hashira rank higher in demon-slaying skills.

Nah, Tanjiro's father wasn't even a Demon Slayer. He was just a cool dude with some epic moves.
