Nope, Tears of the Kingdom isn't directly connected to Twilight Princess. They're part of the same Zelda universe but take place in different timelines. Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel to Breath of the Wild, offering an adventurous continuation of that story in Hyrule. Think of it as a separate chapter, not a direct link to Twilight Princess, but still full of all the Zelda charm and epicness we love.

Nuh-uh, it's its own beast. Twilight Princess and Tears of the Kingdom are like distant cousins that only see each other at big family reunions.

Tears of the Kingdom doesn't follow the story or world of Twilight Princess. It's more of a sequel to Breath of the Wild. So, don't expect wolf Link to make an appearance.

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
