Both the Boruto manga and anime are canon, but the manga is considered the primary source. The anime includes filler arcs not in the manga, but still contributes to the overall story!

Manga > Anime. The manga is the true canon; anime just follows along and adds some extra fluff.

I've been following both the manga and the anime, and I can confirm they complement each other. Manga lays down the main story, and anime expands on it with additional details.

Yup, both are canon. The manga moves faster and sets the main plot, while the anime fills in gaps and adds more depth to the characters.

If you're a Boruto: Naruto Next Generations fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
