Honestly, the anime is where it's at for me. The voice actors and comedic timing are spot on. Plus, the action scenes look amazing in motion!

Both have their charm! The manga's humor hits hard with quick panel setups, but the anime brings it all to life with voice acting and music. Can't go wrong either way!

Hot take: The manga is better. You get the OG story without fillers, and reading Gintoki's antics at your own pace is unbeatable!

Having watched and read both multiple times, I'd say it depends on what you're looking for. If you enjoy visual humor and great voice acting, go with the anime. For a more personal, deep dive into the story without distractions, definitely read the manga.
