Definitely not! The main character in Fallout 4, known as the Sole Survivor, is a pre-war human. They start the game by emerging from Vault 111 after being cryogenically frozen for 210 years. There's no point in the game where it's confirmed that the protagonist is a synth. Bethesda designed the story to make you question the nature of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world, but they never definitively say the main character is anything other than human.
I've played through Fallout 4 like five times, and not once did I get the impression that the character is a synth. It's all human struggles and emotions, especially when it comes to your kid. Synth theory doesn't hold up.
