Rec Room? Expensive? No way, it's free! You can spend money if you want cool cosmetics, but it's totally optional.

Nah, Rec Room won't break the bank at all! It's actually free to play which is pretty awesome. You can hop into a bunch of games like paintball or quests without spending a dime. They make their money from in-game purchases like cool outfits for your avatar, but that's all optional. Plus, you can earn the in-game currency, called Tokens, just by playing and completing challenges. So, you can still get your avatar looking stylish without opening your wallet.

Honestly, Rec Room being expensive is a myth. It's free-to-play, and you get a ton of content without spending anything. Sure, there's in-app purchases, but they're not necessary to enjoy the game. I鈥檝e been playing for months and haven鈥檛 spent a penny but still have a blast with all the games and social spaces.

If you're a Rec Room player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Rec Room gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
