Absolutely! Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) diverges from the manga halfway through, creating its own unique storyline, while Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) follows the manga more faithfully from start to finish. So, if you’re a purist, Brotherhood is the way to go!

Yep, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood sticks to the manga, while the 2003 version goes off the rails with its own story. Both are awesome, though!

Brotherhood is better. It follows the manga.

Speaking from experience, watching both series gives you a broader perspective on the Elric brothers’ journey. The 2003 version has a darker, more philosophical edge, while Brotherhood is more action-packed and true to the manga.
