Yeah, Tokyo Ghoul Root A does have some censorship, especially on the more gory scenes. If you want the full experience, go for the Blu-ray versions!

They do censor some of the blood and graphic stuff, but it's still intense! If you鈥檙e used to dark anime, you鈥檒l be fine.

Root A is censored. It鈥檚 not as bad as some other shows, but you'll notice it.

If you're a Tokyo Ghoul fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
