There鈥檚 definitely free roam, but don鈥檛 expect GTA-level freedom. It鈥檚 more like guided free roam with lots of cool stuff to discover.

It's not a full open-world game, but you can roam around planets and backtrack to find hidden goodies and upgrades.

You can revisit planets and explore at your own pace after certain story points, so yep, free roam confirmed!

Nope, not traditionally. It's more of a 'go here, do that' but with some room for exploration between objectives.
