I鈥檝e read the whole manga and finished the anime. Trust me, romance ain't the centerpiece here. Demons and epic battles are!
Expect action and bonds of friendship rather than full-blown romance. It's there, but it's not the main focus.
Who needs romance when you have epic demon battles and a heartwarming sibling bond? Focus on the action!
Demon Slayer isn't heavy on romance, but there are hints! Tanjiro and Kanao have some sparks, and there's a touch of it with Zenitsu and Nezuko too.
