Yep, Honkai Star Rail does have a soft pity system! From what I've seen and experienced, it kicks in around the 50th to 60th pull range. Basically, the closer you get to that range without snagging a 5-star, the higher your chances become of landing one. It's like the game starts feeling sorry for you and boosts your luck a bit.

No soft pity, just hard luck! But seriously, while the game does increase your odds the more you pull without a 5-star, calling it a 'soft pity' might be a bit generous. RNG is still the king in Honkai Star Rail.

Can confirm, soft pity is a thing. Hit my 5-star on the 57th pull after a dry spell. It felt like the odds definitely improved as I got closer to that 60th pull.
