Nah, Toriko and One Piece aren't literally in the same world. BUT, they did have a cool crossover episode where characters from both series meet! It's more of a fun 'what if' scenario than actual canon. So, while they share screen time, each of them exists in their own separate universes.

Def not. Crossovers don't make them the same universe. Just a cool team-up!
Actually had a debate about this with my friends. After some digging, turns out Toriko and One Piece are separate worlds. They did a crossover episode as a special event, kinda like when your favorite comic book heroes team up for an issue and then go back to their own cities.
