Sadly, WhatsApp hasn't released a direct app for iPad yet. But using WhatsApp Web as a workaround works pretty well.
Unfortunately, there's no dedicated WhatsApp app for iPad, but you can use WhatsApp Web through your browser.
I use WhatsApp Web on my iPad all the time! Just open Safari, go to web.whatsapp.com, and scan the QR code with your phone.
