You can use the Xbox 360 controller with an Xbox One, but only if you have the right adapters. Otherwise, stick to the dedicated Xbox One controllers.

Nope, the Xbox 360 remote isn't compatible with the Xbox One. You'll need the Xbox One controller for that.

From my experience, Xbox One controllers are more comfortable and responsive. Trust me, the upgrade is worth it!
