Only the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate option includes Xbox Live. The regular Game Passes for Console and PC do not.

Yes, if you get the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it includes Xbox Live Gold along with access to a huge library of games!

Xbox Live is ONLY included with the Game Pass Ultimate, so if you want online multiplayer, that's your best bet.
