Absolutely, if you're looking to expand your game library beyond what's available on SteamOS. Windows opens up access to other game stores and software that aren't natively supported on SteamOS. It's like unlocking a whole new level for your device!

Honestly, I'd say stick with SteamOS. It's optimized for gaming, and you'll get the best performance for Steam games. Windows might offer more versatility, but it can be a hassle and might not run as smoothly for what the Deck is primarily built for.

Did it. No regrets. Windows on the Steam Deck lets me play a few games I can鈥檛 on SteamOS. Plus, handy for non-gaming apps.

Why fix what isn鈥檛 broken? SteamOS is the way to go. Easy, efficient, and designed for the Deck. Windows sounds like overkill.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
