Japanese with subtitles is the way to go! You get the original voice acting and it feels more true to the creator's vision. Plus, Goku's original voice is legendary.

Both versions have their charm! The English dub has nostalgic value for many, while the Japanese version gives you the authentic experience. Try both and see which you prefer!

The English dub is great, especially if you grew up with it. The voice actors did an awesome job, and it's perfect if you don't like reading subtitles.

Just watch it in the language you prefer. The story and action are awesome either way, and you won't miss out. Enjoy the ride!

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
