Go with GPT. It's the modern standard and works better with UEFI, which the Steam Deck uses.

GPT all the way! MBR is outdated and has limitations that could cause issues down the line.

Definitely GPT. I installed a side boot on my Steam Deck using GPT, and it鈥檚 been smooth sailing. No problems at all!
