Should you double sleeve Pokemon cards?

Honestly, it's a bit overkill. Just one good quality sleeve should do the trick for most people. Unless you're super into keeping everything mint condition or have some super rare cards, double sleeving might just be more hassle and expense than it's worth.

Absolutely, especially if you got those shiny or high-value cards! Double sleeving gives that extra layer of protection against spills, dirt, and the dreaded edge wear. Plus, it keeps them in pristine condition for longer, which is great whether you're a collector or a player looking to maintain the value of your deck.

From personal experience, double sleeving saved my best cards after a friend spilled soda during a game night. Not a drop got through. It's a bit of extra work, but totally worth it for peace of mind and protecting your investment.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
